VINEYARD
Chablis Grand Cru is classified in 7 parts; each part is very different from the others.
"Les Clos" is one of the biggest parts.
The slope is well exposed to the south, in front to the village of Chablis.

TERROIR
Limestone from kimmeridgien with oysters fossilised.

VARIETY
100 % Chardonnay

WINE
Hand-harvest, the grapes are pressed immediately after with a pneumatic press. The fermentation is cool, only in tank to preserve the power of the wine and the delicacy of the mineral flavours. The wine stays during long months on its lees.
Serve cool, not chilled.
At its best: 5 to 10 years.
