VINEYARD
Location: Village of Saint Bris le Vineux, which is at 10 kms from CHABLIS
TERROIR
The soil is majority Portlandien soil from the JURASSIC period.
Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir.
The vines are 45 years old
WINE
Vinification: Harvest with the maturation at the end of September.
Traditional Burgundy red vinification to extract nice fruit flavours and color.
Typical « goût de terroir » of septentrionnal Burgundy
Short ageing in oak barrels. (2 month )The color is typical of Pinot in this area.
Tasting note: Many little red fruits on the nose and nice palet, soft and easy drinking. Very digestive. Cherry flavours of varying intensity according to the vintage and the age of the wine. The colour is a fine brilliant ruby.
Good with barbecue, red meat, poultry and even fish
Serve at: 15 to 17 °C.
At its best : 2 to 5 years.
